Local produce is often marketed as “fresh from the farm.” Penn State New Kensington sophomore agricultural sciences student Hannah Albright wants produce rebranded as “fresh from down the street.”
Michael Cavazza took on Penn State in March. Then he took on North America in April. Now he takes on the world in September. Cavazza, a former student at Penn State New Kensington, will compete in a student research paper competition against 14 international regional winners at the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) conference in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Robert Mathers is Penn State New Kensington’s newest full professor. His promotion in June to professor of chemistry gives the campus four full professors among its 38 faculty.
