The West Penn Power Sustainable Energy Fund has awarded Penn State 新肯辛顿 $75,000 to aid in incorporating sustainability and best practices to the campus-led Corridor of Innovation and revitalization efforts in the city of 新肯辛顿.

Retrofitting roofs in 宾西法尼亚's 'Rust Belt'

以斯帖Obonyo, associate professor of engineering design and architectural engineering, 被判25美元,000 grant from Penn State’s Institutes of Energy and the Environment to design and test a new roofing composite. The project is part of a cross-institutional, multidisciplinary initiative led by Penn State 新肯辛顿’s Corner Launchbox focused on refreshing the community’s image and economy.
