Students from Penn State 新肯辛顿 and four other campuses united to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during the annual MLK Jr. Day of Service on Jan. 21.
World Campus students are joining other Penn State students to take part in service projects on the University Park and 新肯辛顿 campuses on Monday, and are also volunteering at a Habitat for Humanity ReStores in San Diego and Silver Spring, 马里兰.
Those at Penn State 新肯辛顿 and in the surrounding 所有e-Kiski Valley community are invited to explore their ideas at the upcoming 10-week Corner Launchbox Opportunity Accelerator course to be held at the campus’ innovation hub, 角落里, in February through mid-April.

Penn State 新肯辛顿 教师 and 工作人员 celebrated a campus and University milestone last week that has been in the making for four years. The campus is the first in the Penn State system to boast full completion of all four levels of the Penn State Sustainability Institute’s Green Paws 程序.
Rhonda Schuldt has joined Penn State 新肯辛顿 as innovation coordinator in the campus innovation hub, 角落里, located in downtown 新肯辛顿. Her goals for the campus and 角落里 include connecting the campus and 新肯辛顿 community, as well as providing and linking resources to students, 教师, 工作人员, 创业公司, small businesses and community members.
Leaders from the Office of Industrial Partnerships are announcing a new, multi-element industry partnership between Penn State and Factory, 一种食物, 饮料, and pet scale-up company in Bethlehem, 宾西法尼亚. Extending from Penn State Lehigh Valley to the University Park Campus, the new collaboration has the potential to bring economic and intellectual value to the growing 宾西法尼亚-based company, while offering tangible benefits to Penn State students and the broader Penn State community.
Penn State 新肯辛顿 will host a youth panel town hall meeting to discuss building stronger, inclusive and welcoming communities on Oct. 16. "The He艺术 and Minds of Our Youth" will be moderated by 新肯辛顿 alumnae and 工作人员 member 优思明雷.
