Joe Cuiffi works to foster confidence in problem solving among his electro-mechanical engineering technology students. For his unique approach and careful attention to students’ understanding, Cuiffi has earned the 2023 George W. Atherton Award for Excellence in Teaching.
De-stress Fest takes place at five branch libraries across the University Park campus and at 12 Penn State campuses across the commonwealth, offering free snacks, 游戏, 活动, art therapy and other stress-management options, which vary with location.
Six Penn State faculty members have received the 2023 George W. Atherton Award for Excellence in Teaching. They are Kevin Bell, associate professor of English in the College of the Liberal Arts; 约瑟夫Cuiffi, assistant teaching professor of electro-mechanical engineering technology at Penn State 新肯辛顿; Peter Heaney, professor of geosciences in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences; Desiree Lim, assistant professor of philosophy in the College of the Liberal Arts; Megan Lorenz, lecturer in business administration at Penn State York; and Brenna Traver, associate professor of biology at Penn State Schuylkill.
