Penn State New Kensington Chancellor Kevin Snider honored two staff members June 13 as the recipients of the campus’ outstanding service awards. The awards were developed to recognize campus staff members who have made a valuable impact on the campus, whether through interactions with students or faculty, or through the development of new systems, policies and programs.
Penn State New Kensington has added eight new summer camps to its 2017 Kids in College program. The new camps meld creative thinking with hands-on activities and teamwork to enhance the educational experience of grade-school students.
Penn State is moving toward a University-wide health insurance requirement for the 2018-19 academic school year. In preparation for the new requirement, University Health Services (UHS) will begin collecting student health insurance information in May 2017.
