Penn State New Kensington hosted its ninth annual Celebration of Unity Dinner on Jan. 25. More than 160 attendees from the campus and local communities gathered for the event.
Students from six Penn State campuses, including Penn State Behrend, participated in public service projects in Erie on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. They repaired bicycles, ran bingo games and sorted clothes at a community shelter.
Penn State New Kensington will celebrate the work and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and promote diversity and inclusion through a series of events during the campus’ Unity Week, held from Jan. 22. to 31.
Stand for State will host an event, “All That WE ARE,” at Penn State campuses between Jan. 15 and 30. Students, faculty and staff are invited to participate.
Penn State New Kensington students can purchase tickets to the upcoming Broadway tour production of "Wicked" in Pittsburgh. The event is part of the "Penn State in Pittsburgh" activity series for students.
