Nic山, a biomedical engineering student at the 新肯辛顿 campus, will be a 索恩 dancer a second time during the 2023 索恩周末 to be held Feb. 17-19.
Dove, a biobehavioral health major and other 新肯辛顿 索恩 dancer, echoed similar sentiments.
“I 索恩 for the children and their families so they have proper resources to get through a challenging time and never have to see a bill,鸽子说.
Angelena鸽子, a biobehavioral health student at the 新肯辛顿 campus, will represent the campus as a 索恩 dancer during the upcoming 索恩周末 Feb. 17-19. Dove has been part of 索恩 as a Penn State student for three years.

“Out of the four diamonds, I resonate most with courage,鸽子说. "I knew that taking on the 索恩 Primary Chair position this year was going to be difficult. Without courage, I do not think 新肯辛顿 would have succeeded as much as we did this year.”
希尔补充说, “I believe I resonate with strength more because I’ll put anything I’m doing on hold just to make sure someone has someone to talk to or have someone they can lean on when no one else would.”
Both students have been involved in 索恩 for a number of years; 山 has been part of the 索恩 campus team for five years, 三年来，多芬一直是索恩活动的一部分, although being a 索恩 dancer has been a goal for much longer.

“I have been preparing since late November by cutting out sugar, 咖啡因, fast food and started working out a lot to feel physically and mentally ready,希尔说, who also cited some of his favorite past 索恩 memories as being able to dress up as the character Captain Jack Sparrow from the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies to the excitement of many 四个钻石 families.
